I was born in Santa Clara and moved with my family at three years of age to be raised in Idaho. My youth was spent hunting and fishing, working on and riding go-carts, mini-bikes and motorcycles when I wasn't playing baseball or practicing the piano and violin. I got my first full-time summer job at 12 years of age which taught me some important lessons early in my life.

I moved back to the Bay Area after high school and, other than the two years spent in Brazil, I have been here ever since. I was fortunate that Kortnee found and married me and that we have such wonderful children. I was the “support” parent when Kortnee homeschooled our three sons and our daughter. I attribute their good lives and their fine characters to the tireless hours she devoted to their schooling and interaction that helped build them into solid citizens.

I am very grateful to spend my days, working side by side with an incredible woman, helping our clients meet their goals and prepare for the future.
